Assisted with the evaluation of railcar dump system improvements to reduce dust emissions while unloading soda ash. Improvements included new Burnley Baffles and an assessment of the existing dust collection system.

Long-range strategic project investigating options to reduce the cost of shipped bauxite. DPG evaluated expansion project concepts, costs and issues related to limestone removal and bauxite drying.

Noranda required a plan to continue operation during a major equipment repair event. DPG prepared concepts and a preliminary design for a conveyor bypass system to deliver bauxite to the Plant during repairs.
