Georgia Pacific Gypsum Import Terminal Reconfiguration Study

Working with the Ben C. Gerwick (now COWI) engineering Team, developed expansion concepts for the existing gypsum import system servicing the wallboard plant to allow for the discharge of larger vessels at faster unloading rates. Project elements to be integrated into the existing system included: new marine structures, self-discharging vessel receiving hopper with dual-feeders, gypsum storage enclosure and inbound and reclaim conveying systems.
